3d Game Animator

Job Description

Five River Solutions looking for specialized individual to join our team as a "3D Game Animator" for our gaming studio. The responsibilities of the 3D Artist include creating game characters, animations using computers, creating environments, and managing multiple projects while adhering to deadlines.

To be a successful 3D Artist, you should be detail-oriented, flexible, and a good team player. Ultimately, a top-notch 3D Artist is creative and artistic with a strong working knowledge of color, texture, and light as well as industry-standard software.

Responsibilities:

• Working creatively to produce original and pleasing animations for real time game assets
• Assist designers and producers with gameplay prototypes / animatics
• Work with lead modeler/animator to ensure timely completion of character assets at the desired quality mark
• Create custom animations for humanoid models (rigged/non-rigged)
• Create custom animations for non-humanoid characters like monsters/insects/animals with multiple legs
• Serve as an active participant within team

‍Requirements:

• Experience in game development animating characters using Maya / Studio Max / Blender / Cinema4D / zBrush or equivalent 3D modeling tool
• Strong understanding of traditional animation principles and how they can be used to enhance gameplay and creative marketing trailers
• Self motivated, great communication skills and team player attitude
• Able to work creatively as part of large or small group
• A passion for video games

Plus Points:

l Work on face rigging for facial expressions via Adobe Fuse or similar tool

l Hands on experience with Unity

l A passionate for mobile games

l Experience in VFX and Particle animation

l Skill in one more related disciplines: Modeling, rigging or technical art
