We are seeking a skilled AWS Redshift Data Engineer to join our team at MetaSol. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing AWS Redshift databases, optimizing data warehouse performance, and ensuring data quality.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain AWS Redshift databases to support our data warehouse needs.
- Optimize database performance and scalability to handle large volumes of data efficiently.
- Develop and implement data quality checks and monitoring processes to ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design solutions accordingly.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues on time.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to AWS Redshift and data engineering.
Requirements:
- Good communication skills in English.
- Proven experience working with AWS Redshift in a production environment.
- Strong understanding of database concepts and experience with SQL.
- Experience with data warehouse design, implementation, and optimization.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- AWS certification(s) in relevant areas is a plus.
