Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled BI Consultant / Data Engineer to support the development of a Business Intelligence solution. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the Microsoft Power Platform and a proven track record of integrating diverse data sources to deliver actionable insights through real-time reporting and predictive analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop Power BI dashboards with real-time data visualization, drill-down reporting, and predictive analytics.
- Build and optimize ETL pipelines to integrate data from systems such as WMS, LMS, and QuickBooks.
- Automate workflows and data processes using Power Automate.
- Develop customized business applications with Power Apps.
- Leverage Azure Data Services (Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL) to implement cloud-based solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions.
- Advise on deployment strategies (cloud, on-premises, hybrid) and best practices for data governance and role-based access control (RBAC).
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven expertise with the Power Platform: Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate.
- Strong background in data engineering, including experience with SQL databases, APIs, and third-party integrations.
- Familiarity with integrating QuickBooks, WMS, and LMS systems is highly desirable.
- Experience with Azure Data Services and cloud-based architectures.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business users.
- Ability to recommend and implement best practices for data governance and dashboard usability.
