Job Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Executive. The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, managing accounts, and communicating with clients. The Executive must also build strong relationships with existing customers, work with the marketing team, and reach sales targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and prospect potential clients through various channels, leveraging a deep understanding of the freelancing landscape and industry trends.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs, and positioning our services to meet those requirements.
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver customized solutions.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to contribute to the development of business plans and strategies.
  • Build and manage a network of freelancers, ensuring their skills align with client demands and coordinating assignments to meet project deadlines.
  • Conduct negotiations with clients to secure profitable contracts and agreements, ensuring a win-win situation for both parties.
  • Prepare compelling proposals and presentations, highlighting the unique value proposition and benefits of our services.
  • Generate regular reports on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and effectively.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, specifically within the freelancing or related industry.
  • Demonstrated understanding of freelancing platforms, marketplaces, and a strong network of freelancers. Experience in managing freelancers for project success.
  • Proficient in understanding technical concepts and adept at articulating them to clients. Familiarity with digital technologies, software development, or other technical domains is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment, responding effectively to changing priorities.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and propose effective solutions.
  • Proactive in building and maintaining professional networks, both online and offline.
