Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about renewable energy and possess a strong background in sales, business development, and project management and will have a proven track record in sales within the renewable energy sector, with a focus on solar inverters and energy storage solutions.
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving growth in the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and emerging opportunities in the renewable energy sector.
- Analyze competitor activities and industry developments to develop strategies for market penetration and differentiation.
Business Development
- Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market share.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including utilities, government agencies, commercial and industrial customers, and other relevant partners.
- Lead negotiations and secure contracts for renewable energy projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
Project Management
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop project proposals, including feasibility studies, technical specifications, and financial models.
- Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, from initial concept through to execution, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor project performance and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
Strategic Partnerships
- Establish strategic partnerships and alliances with technology providers, financing institutions, and other stakeholders to enhance the company's competitive position and capabilities.
- Leverage partnerships to access new markets, technologies, and resources that support business growth and innovation.
Networking and Representation
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote brand awareness and thought leadership in the renewable energy sector.
- Build and maintain relationships with industry associations, regulatory bodies, and community organizations to support business objectives and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
