Job Description
You will play a critical role in driving the institute's growth and expansion by identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding the client base. This role requires a proactive and strategic thinker who is passionate about business development strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Your job responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Research and identify new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets
- Generate leads and cold call prospective customers
- Help to plan sales campaigns
- Create a sales pipeline
- Negotiate pricing with customers, and suppliers in some cases
- Develop the business sales and marketing strategy.
- Develop quotes and proposals for clients.
- Meet with customers/clients face-to-face or virtually
- Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively on time
- Think strategically - to develop and improve the business
- Have a good understanding of the business products or services & be able to advise others
- Attend seminars, conferences and events where appropriate
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Education, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably in the education sector.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of the education industry and business development strategies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Goal-oriented with a passion for achieving targets and driving results.
