We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager with a proven track record of success in IT services sales. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in business development, with deep knowledge and experience in selling IT services within the Banking and Corporate sectors, as well as the FinTech industry. This role requires a strategic thinker who can identify new business opportunities, build strong relationships, and drive sales for services including Test Automation, CMMI, Cybersecurity, and Augmentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Market Expansion:
Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities within the Banking, Corporate, and FinTech sectors. Build and maintain long-lasting client relationships to ensure continued business growth. Lead the sales strategy for services like Test Automation, CMMI, Cybersecurity, and IT Augmentation.
Sales Target Achievement:
Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets by effectively identifying prospects, creating tailored solutions, and closing sales. Develop and present tailored proposals and solutions to prospective clients.
Industry Expertise & Thought Leadership:
Leverage in-depth knowledge of the Banking, Corporate, and FinTech industries to position the company’s services effectively. Act as a thought leader and trusted advisor to clients, providing insights into the latest trends in IT services, automation, cybersecurity, and more.
Collaboration & Team Leadership:
Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, technical, and delivery teams, to ensure alignment of business development efforts with service offerings. Assist in shaping the company’s product/service portfolio based on market demand.
Market Intelligence:
Monitor competitive landscape and emerging trends to identify new opportunities and threats. Provide regular reports and analysis on market activities, client feedback, and competitor strategies.
Requirements:
Experience:
Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Business Development and Sales within the IT services industry, with a specific focus on the Banking, Corporate, and FinTech sectors. Proven success in selling Test Automation, CMMI, Cybersecurity, and IT Augmentation services.
Industry Knowledge:
Strong understanding of the IT landscape in Banking and Corporate sectors, with a focus on digital transformation, software testing, automation, and cybersecurity. Familiarity with the FinTech industry and its unique needs and challenges.
Sales Expertise:
Proven ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies, identify prospects, and close deals. Strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
Communication & Negotiation Skills:
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Ability to present complex solutions in a simple and compelling manner.
Education:
A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent is a plus.
