Job Description
The Business Development Officer will be responsible for identifying, bidding on, and securing projects from freelancing platforms, building strong client relationships, and contributing to revenue growth. The ideal candidate should have experience in online bidding, lead generation, and IT services sales.
Key Responsibilities Lead Generation & Online Bidding
- Identify and bid on relevant projects on Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer, PeoplePerHour, and other freelancing platforms.
- Write tailored and persuasive proposals to maximize project win rates.
- Research and analyze platform trends to identify new business opportunities.
Client Communication & Relationship Management
- Engage with potential clients through chat, calls, and emails to understand their project needs.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with international and national clients.
- Ensure a high level of client satisfaction through clear communication and timely responses.
Sales & Business Growth
- Convert leads into long-term business partnerships by offering customized IT and software solutions.
- Explore new business opportunities and revenue streams.
- Meet and exceed sales and revenue targets.
Market Research & Strategy
- Research competitors, industry trends, and pricing strategies to stay competitive in the freelancing market.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance Senew Tech’s presence on freelancing platforms.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging company profiles, portfolios, and case studies.
CRM & Reporting
- Maintain an organized pipeline of leads and projects using CRM tools.
- Prepare and present weekly/monthly reports on business development activities, lead conversion rates, and revenue generation.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 1-3 years of experience in online bidding and lead generation for IT or software development services.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of software development, web & mobile app development, and IT solutions to communicate effectively with clients.
- Freelancing Platforms Expertise: Proven success in winning projects on Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer, and similar platforms.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal English skills for professional communication with international clients.
- Sales & Negotiation: Ability to negotiate pricing, close deals, and upsell services.
- Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently.
