Job Description
The Team: Leads initiatives to analyze business problems to be solved with integrated long-term solutions. Provides product and content expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing solutions that solve and address inefficient processes and legacy practices that constrain customer migration to newer products. Provides an integrated portfolio management view of projects as well as the management of Product Analyst resources assigned to those projects, while viewing projects and their associated requirements in a strategic manner. Provides support of multi-functional efforts to identify, interpret and produce recommendations based on product needs. Ensures that policies and procedures align with corporate vision.

- How to work with large, complex transactional database systems and usage cubes as well as having strong familiarity with MS-Excel macros and MS-Access
Has comprehensive knowledge and experience in at least 1 of the following and general understanding of other areas:
- Fixed Income Content, Analysis and Use

Responsibilities
- Gathers/analyzes/documents business and data requirements leading to the development of business solution features and epics; thorough requirements solicitation, including techniques such as use case writing, hosting JAD/JAR sessions, personal development, user segmentation.
- Supports the development of internal workflow design through systems, new and revised procedures and product designs. Optimizes processes through applying Lean/Six Sigma and value mapping techniques.
- Supports the establishment of change programs by facilitating visioning sessions with internal users and producing associated Vision documents. Drives change programs to promote adoption of new and revised processes and procedures.
- Applies project management techniques.
- Defines and manages governance activities that are specific to the Desktop. Manages the effects and impacts of requested changes to established projects, systems and applications, as well as the identification and communication of project risks. Examples include: addition of new fields; dependency management; risk management/health reporting.
- Develops expertise in Agile Software Development Life Cycle terminology and methodology and stays abreast of developments in BA tools workspace. Leads the implementation of new techniques as and when required outside the Agile framework.
- Assists with the governance of implementation of data requirements as a point of liaison between the Data Governance team and the ARTs. Understands the purpose for which new fields will be used. Example: addition of new fields.
- Assists in the testing of products from an end-user perspective as well as in the creation of training materials and support documentation. Assists with the creation of release management collateral. Populates an internal knowledge base with collateral repeatedly requested from the BA team.
