Job Description
A cross-functional role responsible for ensuring the quality and brand alignment of all external communication and content, and for designing and maintaining an upbeat, high-energy, fun, engaging, and relevant social media presence for all elements of the Amal brand!
What you’ll do:
- Ensure quality of (reviewing / drafting / designing) all written communication across workstreams (website, FAQs, external emails, applications, forms, newsletters, flyers, slide-decks and social media posts etc.)
- Assist Senior Manager Marketing in devising strategy and implement strategy for Social Media posts and engagement across all workstreams
- Work closely with Content creator/Graphic Designer to direct and manage timely development of fun and engaging graphical/video content for all workstreams (marketing, curriculum, alumni etc.)
- Manage and post across all social media channels; working with Operations and Senior Management to devise better CRM processes. Tracking and analyzing various metrics (ad analytics, web analytics, SEO, likes, followers, comments etc.)
- Design and support campaigns on email, SMS, social media, print and other platforms
- Manage timely and quality responses to all email/social media queries through the team
What you’ll need:
- A flair for effective, concise, and structured written communication. For starters, you should be able to point out at least a dozen areas for improvement within this JD
- Impeccable English skills - be prepared to submit writing samples as part of the selection process!
- A solid understanding of and experience with social media platforms and brand management
- A great aesthetic sense and a creative side on social media (who’s your favorite influencer?)
- Comfort with technology, spreadsheets and data analysis (or at least a vigor to learn)
- Experience working with Google Slides / Powerpoint / Prezi, CRM platforms and user experience design
Additional qualifications
- At least 2-5 years of relevant work experience
- Drive to work in the social impact space, great interpersonal skills
