Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-performance PHP applications for e-commerce platforms.
- Write clean, optimized, and secure PHP code entirely from scratch.
- Develop custom solutions for complex problems, utilizing PHP’s core features.
- Adhere to best practices for PHP security, performance, and optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to project planning.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to junior developers.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues, using advanced debugging tools.
- Contribute to the development of PHP coding standards and best practices.
- Stay updated on PHP releases and industry trends.
Requirements:
Technical Skills:
- 4+ years of PHP development experience (PHP 5.x to PHP 8.x).
- Mastery of PHP core, including syntax, OOP, and PHP extensions (MySQLi, PDO, curl).
- Proficient in MySQL/MariaDB, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, and XML.
- Deep understanding of web security principles and performance optimization techniques.
- Experience with API design (RESTful APIs) and e-commerce platforms (Magento, WooCommerce).
- Familiarity with PHP testing frameworks (e.g., PHPUnit).
- Must be an expert in Core PHP stack coding. Without this knowledge, candidates will not be considered for the role.
- Experience with PHP frameworks (MVC, Symfony) for comparison.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools.
- Certification in PHP development (e.g., Zend Certified PHP Engineer)
