We are seeking a skilled and experienced Custom WordPress Developer to join our team. As a Custom WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for developing and customizing WordPress themes, plugins, and functionality to meet our clients' specific needs. You will work closely with our design and development teams to create engaging, user-friendly, and scalable WordPress websites.
Responsibilities:
- Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins based on requirements and design specifications.
- Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins to add new features and functionality.
- Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing and user-friendly website layouts.
- Optimize website performance and ensure compatibility across different browsers and devices.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services to extend website functionality.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues with WordPress websites and plugins.
- Conduct thorough testing of websites and implement necessary bug fixes.
- Keep up to date with the latest WordPress trends, techniques, and best practices.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Custom WordPress Developer.
- Strong proficiency in WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin development.
- Proficient in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery.
- Experience with responsive web design and mobile-first development.
- Knowledge of PHP and MySQL.
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
- Solid understanding of web standards, cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
