About the role:
Managed Services SQL Database administrator where you will experience Management and Administration of SQL Databases, Services and ETL processes. Understanding the business needs and interacting with other team members in completing the task as scheduled. Working with multiple Stakeholders to complete the tasks.
Primary Responsibilities of a Database Engineer (DBA) - SQL
· Manage SQL Server databases
· Configure and maintain database servers and processes
· Monitor system's health and performance
· Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability and security
· Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time
· Provide suggestions for solutions
· Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes
· Assist developers with query tuning and schema refinement
· Provide 24x7 support for critical production systems
· Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities after hours
· Microsoft Certified Professional certification will be preferred.
Qualifications of a Database Engineer (DBA) - SQL
• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• Minimum 2 to 5 years of industry experience
• Expertise in Data Lake and DWH-related projects
• Scripting language languages such as Python
• Minimum 2 years of experience on SQL Server
