TechnoGenics SMC PVT Ltd. is a Pakistani product-based startup working in the IT sector in the cybersecurity domain. We are looking to bolster our DevOps department with talented engineers that have an aptitude for solving problems.
Responsibilities
- Uses coding languages or scripting methodologies to solve a problem
- Provides support to development teams related to the deployment of their microservices to Kubernetes clusters.
- Participates in architecture and software development discussions.
- Translates loosely defined requirements into solutions.
- Collaborates with others on the project to brainstorm about the best way to tackle a complex technological infrastructure, security, or development problem.
- Performs incremental testing actions on code, processes, and deployments to identify ways to streamline execution and minimize errors encountered.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science, IT, IS, or equivalent area of technical study.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- 4+ years of experience working with a team or across multiple teams
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service
- Experience with or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies
- Experience with Linux operating system environments.
- Experience with Docker containerization and creating production-ready images.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes with exposure to managed Kubernetes services.
- Experience working with a cloud services provider such as AWS, Azure or GCP.
- Familiarity with agile software development in Python and/or NodeJS.
- Experience in managing SQL/NoSQL databases such as Postgres, MongoDB.
- Experience working with Graph databases such as Neo4j is a plus.
- Experience with creating and managing CI/CD pipelines for multi-environment builds using CD/CD tools such as Jenkins or CircleCI.
- Hands-on experience with error logging, monitoring and alerting on Kubernetes.
- Experience with infrastructure scripting and/or configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef and/or Puppet.
