As a Devops Specialist you will be designing Telecom scale Cloud Solutions, managing various Cloud Operations mainly in Linux/Unix and VOIP and leading the team of DevOps engineers. You will be focused on R&D of Video Telephone, Sip Telephony, 4G IMS and relevant telecom technologies.
Responsibilities:
o Deployment and Maintenance of VOIP(Voice/Video) Services and operations
o R&D of Linux based Open-source SIP Telephony solution and Telecom 4G IMS technologies
o Managing operations of various Telecom Solutions, Sigtran, VOIP, SMPP, SIP,CAP,MAP etc
o Troubleshooting problems in various components in timely fashion
o Automate various entities of Services and reporting
o Work with Clients normally Worldwide Telecom Operators
o Ownership of Service Level operations and its improvements
o Managing L2-L3 Operations of various cloud components
o Deploying and managing various DBs and responsible for their uptimes
o Deploying and Managing Hypervisor, VMs, Containers and their operations in depth
o Testing of various In-House and Open-source Software scalability
Skills And Qualifications
o 4-6 years of experience
o Expert Level knowledge of Linux/Unix Structure and Management
o Good knowledge of Hypervisor, VMs, Containers and their operations in depth
o VOIP Experience of SIP/SDP/RTP and Asterisk, Free Switch etc.
o Expert Level knowledge of Linux/Unix Structure and Management
o Expert Level knowledge of Databases, MySQL, PostgreSQL and Cassandra
o Expert Level knowledge of DB routing mechanisms and query routing
o Expert in various Load Balancers Hardware and Software i.e F5, HaProxy,
o Expert in Apache and Ngnix Webservers, their modules and their deployment structure
o Expert in DNS, mainly BIND and good knowledge of working of ROOT, Cache only servers
o Good knowledge of scripting mainly in Bash, Perl, Python
o CI/ CD pipelines (Jenkins / AWS code pipeline or any other tool)
o Cloud Computing experience (AWS, Google, Digital Ocean)
o Container systems (Docker, Docker-Compose)
o Container orchestration (Kubernetes, Swarm or any other)
o Monitoring and logging (Prometheus, ELK, Grafana or any other)
o Infrastructure as code (Ansible, Terraform, or any other).
o Understanding of any SCM like Git
o University degree in BS Computer science, Software engineering or another relevant field.
o Have good presentation and communication skills with ability to influence colleagues and decision makers
