Job Description
We’re looking for a DevOps Specialist to collaborate with us on a project-by-project basis. This role is ideal for someone who wants to take on high-quality, short-term assignments alongside their full-time job. You’ll be contacted when projects arise (e.g., infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipeline setup, cloud deployments) and must deliver fast, flawless results within agreed deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage DevOps solutions (CI/CD pipelines, IaC, cloud infrastructure, monitoring).
- Collaborate with developers and operations teams to streamline deployments and resolve issues.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and to exceptionally high standards.
- Troubleshoot and optimize systems for performance, scalability, and security.
- Communicate proactively and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on DevOps experience.
- Expertise in tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS/Azure/GCP, Ansible, Git.
- Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD best practices.
- Ability to work flexibly—jump into projects quickly and deliver under pressure.
- Obsessive attention to detail and commitment to high-quality outputs.
- Excellent communication skills (English fluency required).
- Based in the UK (preferred) or able to align with UK working hours.
