Job Description
We are seeking an onsite Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our secure DevOps pipeline, ensuring that our software products are delivered to our customers with the highest levels of security and reliability. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain our secure DevOps pipeline
- Implement security measures and best practices across our software products and infrastructure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and systems
- Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to ensure the availability and performance of our systems
- Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance the security and reliability of our software products
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security and DevOps technologies and practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or software development with a focus on security
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and best practices
- Familiarity with security standards and regulations such as OWASP, ISO 27001, and GDPR
- Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Cloud certifications for Azure, AWS, GCP
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) and experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Terraform)
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- CI/CD pipeline creation and management.
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Security automation and tooling: Build and maintain security-focused automation pipelines, integrating security tools and technologies into the development and deployment processes. Continuously improve and streamline security testing, code analysis, and vulnerability scanning.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Nice to have:
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies, such as vulnerability scanners, static code analysis, and application security testing tools
- Experience with security testing and vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus, Qualys, or Burp Suite
