Job Description
The ideal candidate is a highly resourceful and innovative developer with extensive experience in the layout, design and coding of websites specifically in Angular or React. You must also possess a strong knowledge of web application development using Node.JS Javascript programming language using worker threads and RDBMS (Like MariaDB or PostgreSQL or MySQL) and MongoDB. NGINX knowledge is required on how to use php-fpm, reverse proxy, virtual host etc. This is a remote position. Docker and Redis experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform a mix of maintenance, enhancements, and new development as required
- Perform and help in DevOps operations
- Assist in deployment of applications to the cloud
- Work cross-functionally to convert business needs into technical specifications
- Address JIRA tickets for bugs and improvements
- Maintain Bitbucket repository
Required Qualifications
- 1.5+ years of experience in web development and software design.
- Expertise in front-end technologies - Angular or React.js
- Knowledge of database development in MongoDB and any RDBMS( PostgreSQL, MySQL or MariaDB)
- On-hand experience working with online payment platforms like Stripe or BrainTree.
- Strong grip on Linux CentOS 8.
- Expertise in NGINX webserver.
- Redis and Docker experience is a plus.
