Minas Code is looking for Full Stack WordPress Developer
Responsibilities:
· Designing and building the website front-end.
· Creating the website architecture.
· Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.
· Generating WordPress themes and plugins.
· Conducting website performance tests.
· Troubleshooting content issues.
· Monitoring the performance of the live website.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar field.
· 5+ years of experience in PHP and experience with Object-Oriented Programming Concepts.
· Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.
· Comfortable working with debugging tools like Xdebug, Firebug, Chrome DevTools, etc.
· Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications.
· Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics. Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
· Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages.
· Experience of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).
· Proficient understanding of code versioning tools
· Must possess outstanding interpersonal and team skills with a track record of developing positive working relationships.
· Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
· Strong project management and organizational skills focused on results.
· Innovative thinker that’s comfortable working with ambiguity in a fast paced environment.
· Committed to continuous learning and following coding best practices.
· Experience with Laravel, WordPress and writing plugins for WordPress is a plus.
