We’re looking for a motivated Information Security Engineer – Compliance to join our team at RapidCompute. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career security professional to strengthen their expertise across compliance, security operations, vulnerability management, and infrastructure protection while working in a dynamic technology environment.
🎯 What You’ll Be Doing
🔹 Support the implementation and maintenance of compliance with ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and GDPR requirements.
🔹 Assist with internal and external audits by preparing documentation, evidence, and control reports.
🔹 Support vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts with relevant teams.
🔹 Maintain and update security policies, procedures, and risk registers.
🔹 Assist with access control reviews, user provisioning and de-provisioning, and periodic access audits.
🔹 Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to ensure secure configurations across systems and networks.
🛡️ What We’re Looking For
✅ 1–2 years of hands-on experience in Information Security, IT Security, or a related role.
✅ Working knowledge of ISO 27001 and familiarity with PCI DSS compliance requirements.
✅ Understanding of GDPR data protection principles and practices.
✅ Practical experience configuring or managing Trend Micro security products.
✅ Basic understanding of networking concepts, including firewalls, VPNs, DNS, and TCP/IP.
✅ Exposure to SIEM tools such as Splunk, QRadar, or Microsoft Sentinel.
✅ Basic scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automating routine security tasks.
✅ Familiarity with vulnerability management tools such as Nessus, Qualys, or OpenVAS.
✅ Relevant or in-progress certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or ISO 27001 Foundation will be an added advantage.
✅ Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
