Hiring: IT Backup & DR (Disaster Recovery) Specialist – Karachi (SITE area)

We are looking for a skilled IT Backup & DR Specialist to manage enterprise backup operations, ensure data integrity, and support disaster recovery readiness across all systems.
Key Responsibilities
Perform and monitor daily, weekly & scheduled backups for ERP, databases, applications, AD, email, users, and network devices.
Execute disaster recovery and restoration drills twice a year and maintain complete documentation.
Ensure backup retention compliance (minimum 3 years) and guarantee storage availability to avoid failures.
Maintain and update the master backup documentation, including scripts, frequencies, storage paths, and procedures.
Coordinate with Business Apps & HOIS for new systems or data inclusion.
Maintain backup profiles for executive and critical users.
Technical Skills Required
Microsoft 365 Office
Linux Operating Systems (experience preferred)
Windows Server 2016 / 2022 / 2025 tools
Oracle Database (backup and restoration)
Veeam Backup (or similar enterprise backup tools)
Active Directory backup & authentication services
Network device backups: Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Access Points
Salary & Benefits
