Job Description
Cloudtek is looking for highly skilled programmers with experience building web applications in Java. Java Developers are responsible for analyzing user requirements and business objectives, determining application features and functionality, and recommending changes to existing Java-based applications, among other duties.
Responsibilities:
- Expertise in designing and building REST web services using Java at internet scale
- Strong in Java (v8 plus)
- Strong in SpringBoot and MVC framework
- Experience with tuning high-volume applications
- Experience with caching products
- Experience working in Agile environment
- Proficient in Git Jenkins CI/CD pipeline
- Experience with OpenShift is a plus
- Experience with AWS is a plus
- Ability to drive API design in support of logical solution architecture
- Ability to lead development of design patterns
- Ability to play a tech lead role for major engineering initiatives
- Ability to rationalize technical recommendation for directional decisions
- Ability to speak in non-technical terms and explain technical concepts in plain terms
- Influential focused and versatile team player that is comfortable under pressure
