We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Junior IT Support Specialist to provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, network, and peripheral-related issues. The ideal candidate will assist employees with day-to-day IT problems, maintain computer systems, and ensure the smooth operation of the organization's IT infrastructure.
𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬
Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux operating systems.
Set up new user workstations, email accounts, and system access.
Configure and support network printers and other peripherals.
Assist in maintaining LAN connectivity and basic network infrastructure.
Perform software installations, updates, and system optimization.
Monitor and resolve user-reported IT incidents and service requests.
Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, support tickets, and troubleshooting activities.
Assist in routine system maintenance, backups, and security updates.
Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff when required.
𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 & 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬
1–2 years of experience in IT Support or a similar technical support role.
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Basic understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems.
Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, and LAN/WAN concepts.
Familiarity with printers, scanners, and other office peripherals.
Understanding of computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and common business applications.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
