Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior PHP & CMS Developer to join our development team. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in web development using PHP, WordPress, and MySQL, who is eager to grow and learn in a collaborative environment. You’ll work closely with senior developers and be involved in building, maintaining, and optimizing websites and web applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and maintaining websites using WordPress and other CMS platforms.
- Support backend development tasks using PHP and MySQL.
- Work on simple theme and plugin customizations in WordPress.
- Write basic object-oriented PHP code and troubleshoot common issues.
- Participate in database management tasks and write simple SQL queries.
- Test, debug, and document code under the guidance of senior developers.
- Stay updated with the latest web development trends and technologies.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality web solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of PHP, MySQL, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Familiarity with WordPress (theme and plugin customization).
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of how databases work and how to run basic SQL queries.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior team members.
- Good communication and time management skills.
- Ability to work on multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
