Job Description
We are seeking a Junior SQA Engineer to join our team and help us maintain the quality of our software applications. In this role, you will be responsible for working with the QA automation engineer to analyze the functionality of applications and design automated tests to validate their performance. You will also be required to identify bugs, install databases, and collaborate with the software design team.
To ensure success as a Junior QA Engineer, you should have basic programming skills, a keen eye for detail, and excellent project management skills. You should also be willing to learn and work collaboratively with the team to achieve our goals.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the QA automation engineer and the software design team to discuss verification protocols.
- Assist in identifying software application weaknesses and target areas.
- Participate in the creation of automated software test procedures.
- Assist in reviewing software bug reports and highlighting problem areas.
- Assist in writing automation scripts and implementing software applications.
- Troubleshoot automation software and assist in finalizing system procedures.
- Collaborate with the design team to solve application faults
- Assist in identifying quality issues and creating test reports.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience.
- 1 year quality assurance experience
- Basic understanding of automation testing using Selenium, NUnit, XUnit, Cyprus.
- Basic understanding of Javascript/Typescript.
- Familiarity with Git, Visual Code, Docker, Jenkins.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrates a sense of ownership and is proactive in terms of advancing our automation capabilities and process.
- Willingness to learn and work collaboratively with the team.
Plus Points
- Experience working with the healthcare industry.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies is a plus.
- Familiarity with Swift, Objective C, and Java is a plus.
- Familiarity with blockchain/DeFi apps is a plus.
