Laravel Developer Team Lead

Job Description

Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead and manage a team of Laravel developers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Design, develop, test and maintain various web applications using PHP Laravel framework.
  • Write clean, efficient and well documented code.
  • Oversee the end-to-end development process, ensuring high-quality code and timely project delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define project scope.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical expertise and support.
  • Perform code reviews to maintain coding standards and ensure code quality.
  • Stay updated on Laravel and related technologies to implement best practices and optimize performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Drive innovation and efficiency in development processes.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience working on large scale Laravel applications.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing development teams and projects.
  • Advanced understanding of Laravel’s core concepts (like MVC, Eloquent, Queues,Form validation, Collections, Console commands, Task scheduling, Cache)
  • Strong knowledge of PHP, Laravel, and related web technologies.
  • Excellent understanding of database design and optimization i.e. MySQL, Postgres,SQLite, and SQL Server.
  • Competent in working with related IDEs i.e. PHP Storm, Sublime, Chrom, VSCode etc.
  • Basic understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, Bitbucket, etc.
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Proactive in staying updated on industry trends and technologies.
