Job Description
The ideal candidate is a highly resourceful and innovative developer with extensive experience in the layout, design and coding of websites specifically in Laravel / PHP format. You must also possess a strong knowledge of web application development using Node.JS Javascript programming language and PostgreSQL, MySQL or MariaDB databases. This is a remote position. Docker and Redis experienced is required. Candidate should know how to create custom containers and develop Redis MQ and Cache.
Responsibilities
- Perform a mix of maintenance, enhancements, and new development as required
- Perform and help in DevOps operations
- Assist in deployment of applications to the cloud
- Work cross-functionally to convert business needs into technical specifications
- Address JIRA tickets for bugs and improvements
- Maintain Bitbucket repository
Required Qualifications
- 1.5+ years of experience in web development and software design
- Expertise in front-end technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS) and PHP frameworks (Laravel)
- Knowledge of database development in PostgreSQL, MySQL or MariaDB
- On-hand experience with Stripe Connect accounts (Platform Payments)
- Strong grip on Linux CentOS 7 & 8
- Expertise in NGINX webserver
- Redis experience is required
- Docker/Kubernetes experience is required
