Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Laravel & Python Backend Developer with strong expertise in AWS, scalable platforms, and software engineering best practices. The ideal candidate should be capable of designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems while ensuring security, scalability, and efficiency. We need a smart, skilled person with a sharp mind who can deliver fast and agile solutions. The ideal experience level is 2 to 4 years (junior to medium level), but if you can prove your worth in the interview and screening, you will be welcome to join the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain backend applications using Laravel and Python.
- Implement and optimize Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and microservices.
- Develop APIs for frontend applications (Angular) and third-party integrations.
- Utilize AWS Lambda and other AWS services for scalable solutions.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of applications.
- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.
- Optimize database performance for both relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers and DevOps engineers.
- Maintain strong version control practices using Git.
- Ensure high code quality through linting and automated testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently.
Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Laravel Core and Laravel Advanced development.
- Expert knowledge of Python and backend frameworks such as Django or Flask.
- Hands-on experience with Composer, Blade, and Angular-based integrations.
- Solid grasp of architecture principles and software engineering best practices.
- Expertise in AWS services, especially Lambda, S3, API Gateway, IAM, CloudFormation, and RDS.
- Experience in building and maintaining scalable platforms.
- Strong understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
- Ability to design secure and optimized databases.
- Knowledge of CI/CD concepts, automated testing frameworks, and experience with Git and linting tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an independent, solution-driven attitude.
- Solid understanding of computer architecture and security principles.
- Experience in handling integrations and rollouts.
- Containerization experience is a must (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
- DevOps and Cloud expertise, including CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks, is mandatory.
