We are looking for a Lead Data Engineer to architect, optimize, and scale modern data platforms supporting critical business functions across Credit Risk, Fraud, Marketing, and Analytics.
🔍 What You’ll Do
Lead the design and development of scalable data pipelines and modern data architectures
Optimize SQL queries, ETL workflows, and large-scale database systems for performance and reliability
Build efficient data models and reporting layers for analytics and business intelligence
Mentor and guide junior engineers while promoting engineering best practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Risk, Fraud, and Marketing
Drive improvements in data quality, governance, observability, and operational excellence
Work with cloud technologies, big data tools, and BI platforms such as Power BI/Tableau
🧠 What We’re Looking For
Strong experience in Data Engineering / Big Data Engineering
Expertise in SQL, ETL pipelines, relational databases, and performance optimization
Hands-on experience with Python, Spark, Airflow, Snowflake, Databricks, or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Strong understanding of scalable data architecture and analytics workflows
Leadership mindset with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Experience in financial services or credit card data is a plus
