Mern Developer - Remote
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain front-end components in Next.js, React (with Redux or Context API) and back-end services in Node.js/Express
Architect and implement microservices or modular APIs, leveraging Nest.js for structure and scalability
Design data models and work hands-on with:
Relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
Non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB, Couchbase)
Graph databases (e.g., Neo4j, Amazon Neptune)
Collaborate on DevOps activities: CI/CD pipelines, Docker containerization, Kubernetes deployment, cloud provisioning (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Ensure code quality: write unit/integration tests, perform code reviews, adhere to best practices and security standards
Own your deliverables end-to-end: debugging, documentation, monitoring, and post-release support
Communicate effectively with stakeholders—technical and non-technical—and take responsibility for assigned tasks’ outcomes
Must-Have Qualifications
2+ years professional experience building web applications with the MERN stack
Strong knowledge of Nest.js, including modules, decorators, and dependency injection
Hands-on experience with DevOps workflows: Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins/GitHub Actions, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present ideas clearly and listen actively
Highly responsible, detail-oriented, and able to own tasks from inception through delivery
