NCCPL is looking for Network Engineer
REQUISITES:
Education: BE/BS Degree in Telecommunication or Equivalent from HEC recognized institute.
Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to Internal & External Business Clients.
To resolve end user problem in a timely and accurate fashion.
Troubleshooting problem faced by customer for connecting Dialup, VPN & Solving Login
problems over telephone or visiting their premises.
Monitor routine issues and propose solutions towards eliminating the issues in efficient manner.
Monitoring of Routers, Access Server, Firewalls, Authenticators & Switches using monitoring
tools whichever is in use as per IT management strategy and Forti-Analyzer.
Monitoring of Network Links (Nationwide NCC links) and contacting support in cases of link
issues/down time.
Also responsible to comply with ISMS/BCMS policies and procedures including any other
requirements set forth considering contractual, legal and regulatory needs of the company.
Manage MIS/SLA review reports for proper management of downtime faced over nationwide
links and subsequent rebate claim from vendors, where applicable.
Ensure that data is safely placed in optical drive every quarterly for record purpose as per agreed
Strategy.
Infrastructure, including network connectivity, Internet access, email, device configuration etc.
Inventory management of Network devices.
Ensure 24x7 network operations of the company.
Any other task as advised by the supervisor.
Gain complete knowledge of NCC network and suggest any changes observed for improvement
Initiate for documentation of all BCP related processes and various SOP's required for configuration changes.
Maintain log sheets and highlight to the supervisor in case of any issue reported in the process
tree efficiently.
