We are seeking a skilled Node.js backend developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with API development, specifically with Stripe API.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the backend of our web applications. This includes implementing server-side logic, integrating with external APIs, and ensuring high performance and security.
To be successful in this position, you should have a strong understanding of Node.js, Express, and MongoDB, as well as experience with building and consuming REST APIs. Familiarity with Stripe and other payment processing APIs is a plus.
In addition, you should have strong problem-solving and communication skills, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment.
𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:
Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and secure backend systems
Integrate with external APIs and services, including the Stripe API
Write clean, well-documented code
Collaborate with the frontend development team to ensure a seamless user experience
Troubleshoot and debug issues as needed
𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
2+ years of experience with Node.js backend development
Experience with API development and integration, including the Stripe API
Strong understanding of Express, MongoDB, and REST APIs
Experience with Agile development methodologies
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
