Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal DevOps Engineer to join a dynamic Industrial Intelligence team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge Industry 4.0 platforms that leverage artificial intelligence, machine learning, and big data analytics to solve complex challenges across industries such as manufacturing, oil & gas, chemicals, and more. The ideal candidate will lead cloud infrastructure, ensure system reliability, and drive automation and scalability across production environments.
Location: Lahore
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
Experience:
5 – 8 years of relevant DevOps or Cloud Engineering experience
Key Skills & Competencies:
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline development and automation
• Strong knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability tools
• Experience with distributed systems and large-scale application deployments
• Solid understanding of data security, privacy, and infrastructure best practices
• Strong problem-solving and incident management skills
Job Responsibilities (JDs):
• Own and manage production environments ensuring availability, performance, and reliability (“keep the lights on” responsibility)
• Act as the primary owner of platform-level data security and privacy
• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud-native architectures (preferably on Azure)
• Implement and manage infrastructure automation using modern DevOps tools
• Lead monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability for proactive issue resolution
• Handle incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and provide 24/7 support when required
• Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments
• Oversee application deployments across distributed systems and enforce best practices
• Optimize infrastructure performance and manage cloud costs effectively
• Provide technical leadership and operational support for large-scale applications
