Job Description
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing projects related to the development and maintenance of web-based applications using PHP programming language. You will oversee a team of developers and ensure that projects are completed on time, with great coordination and to the required level of quality.
Should be great at : Tech Planning / Technical Documentation / Quality assurance / Risk management / Budgeting / Communication / Leading the team.
The key responsibilities of a Project Manager will include:
- Leading the project team and collaborating with cross-functional teams to define product goals, scope, and deliverables
- Creating project/product plans, timelines, and budgets and ensuring they are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle
- Monitoring work-in-progress and making necessary adjustments to ensure that deadlines are met
- Communicating with clients to understand their needs and ensure that projects meet their expectations
- Ensuring that all code and development practices adhere to enterprise industry standards and best practices for security, scalability, and performance
- Conducting regular code reviews and providing feedback to the development team to ensure quality and consistency
- Identifying and mitigating project risks and issues
- Providing regular project status updates to stakeholders and management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or software engineering
- Excellent Technical Project Management Skills
- 5+ years of experience having a strong track of products/ projects and companies associated with
- Proficiency in written & spoken English
- Significant hands-on experience with software design patterns and principles
- Self-driven, self-managed skills with positive mindset
- Experience with GIT version control system is a plus
- Experience with Figma / UI/UX design tools is a plus
- Collaborate with other team members to identify and troubleshoot issues
- Implement new features, delivery plans, timely bugs fixing management implementation
- Keep up to date with the latest trends and technologies
- Work with the team to develop and maintain product documentation
- Must be experienced with Project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Asana
- Source control tools such as Git or SVN
- Relational database management systems such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Non-relational databases such as MongoDB or Cassandra
- Cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.
