Job Description
Role and Responsibilities
- Build close coordination and liaison with the Product Owners, Software architects, T-KAMs (Account Managers), and Team Leads to ensure alignment on team deliverables and goals.
- Ensure sprints are completed and closed within the defined time while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Conduct and facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other Agile rituals.
- Continuously invest time in learning about company products, related technologies, and industry trends.
- Coordinate with cross-functional team members to ensure project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are on track.
- Meet regularly with project team members to identify, address, and resolve any impediments or issues.
- Ensure timely submission of project deliverables, adhering strictly to quality standards.
- Prepare and present comprehensive status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant data.
- Establish clear and effective project communication plans and oversee their execution.
- Facilitate and manage change requests, ensuring all stakeholders are informed about the impact on project schedule and budget.
- Set clear team goals, motivate team members, and guide the team to achieve high performance.
- Conduct post-project evaluations, identifying successful outcomes as well as areas for improvement.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager/Scrum Master, preferably in a software development environment.
Preferred Skills
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.
- Solid understanding of iterative and incremental development practices.
- Proficiency in project management tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms.
- Ability to effectively work with all levels of staff, both within IT and across the organization.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Dependable, adaptable, and flexible to meet evolving project needs and deadlines.
