BlueJay Pakistan is looking for Quality Assurance Engineer
Basic Qualifications
- BS degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- Understanding of SQA processes and techniques
- 3 years experience in creating, managing and implementing test plans
- 3 years experience automating test cases using at least one of the modern coding language - Java, C#, Python, PHP etc.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Experience working in an Agile development process
- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working closely with development and business teams to communicate problem impacts and to understand business requirements
- Solid knowledge of SQL
- Shows creativity and initiative to improve product test coverage and effectiveness
- Comfortable with JIRA, GIT, TestRail, and experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
- Knowledge of rest API
- Experience using project tracking software
- Capability and flexibility to execute against multiple projects at the same time
- Familiarity with any centralized test case management
- Build and maintain automation test plans
- Experience with testing both desktop and mobile platforms
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
