Job Description

  • Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
  • Work with outside data sources and APIs
  • Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
  • Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Skills:

  • Proficient with Android SDK
  • Experience with Android Studio, Android Debug Bridge and Gradle
  • Have experience with complete app publishing lifecycle on Google Playstore
  • Experience working with remote data via XML, REST and JSON
  • Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
  • Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools
  • Experience with cloud message APIs and push notifications
  • Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
  • Working on Google Maps & Navigation APIs
