Senior Aws Engineer

Senior AWS Engineer responsible for setting up, maintaining, and evolving cloud infrastructure solutions in a multi account environment

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and Implement AWS architectures and environments

• Design Native Cloud Application Architectures and optimize applications for AWS

• Architecting/operating innovative solutions built on AWS

Experience:

5 - 8 years Familiarity with a broad portfolio of AWS infrastructure tools (EBS, S3, EC2, Elastic IP, Route 53, VPC) andexperience with cloud infrastructure management and automation technologies.
Experience working with basic structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data. Basic SQL knowledge proficiency and analytical skills. Exposure to modern data/analytics architecture (Big Data, Cloud, etc.). Exposure to advanced analytics tools (Python, R, Terraform, etc). Scripting (shell, python, ruby) skills for monitoring and automation. Required

QUALIFICATIONS

• 'Hands-on' AWS implementation experience across a broad range of AWS services.

• IT consulting or project management experience

• Must have in depth AWS development experience (Containerization - Docker, Amazon EKS, Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS)

• Strong knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD pipeline

• Scripting capability and the ability to develop AWS environments as code (Cloud Formation, Terraform)

• Experience with core AWS platform architecture, including areas such as: Organizations, Account Design, VPC, Subnet, segmentation strategies

• Backup and Disaster Recovery approach and design

• Environment and application automation

• IAM Policies and user access management

• Network connectivity, Direct Connect and VPN

• AWS Cost Management and Optimization

• Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience

• Five (5) years experience in Cloud technologies

• Exposure to enterprise architecture

• Experienced in business information modeling and system design

• Ability to apply technology to business strategies
