Job Brief:

We are hiring a Business Analyst to join our product team for a product which is first of its kind for the North American Market. You will work alongside other business and product analysts and report directly to the Sr. Business Analyst. Your main tasks will include performing detailed product requirements analysis, documenting processes, and performing some user acceptance testing. To succeed in this role you should have a natural analytical way of thinking and be able to explain difficult concepts to web/mobile developers and QA Technical Test Analyst team.

 

Business Analyst Responsibilities:

  1. Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
  2. Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
  3. Staying up-to-date on the latest process and product advancements to automate and modernize systems.
  4. Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings with product team in North America and the dev team.
  5. Performing requirements analysis.
  6. Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.
  7. Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
  8. Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
  9. Working closely with clients, developers, and managerial staff.
  10. Ensuring solutions meet product needs and requirements.
  11. Performing user acceptance testing.
  12. Managing product, developing product plans, and monitoring performance.
  13. Updating, implementing, and maintaining procedures.
  14. Prioritising initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
  15. Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
  16. Managing competing resources and priorities.
  17. Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.
  18. Conduct daily scrum meetings and weekly progress meetings with North American team
  19. Follow up with the deadlines set to complete the product development

Business Analyst Requirements:

  1. Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  2. The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
  3. Advanced technical skills and understanding of core technologies of the product
  4. Excellent documentation skills.
  5. Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  6. Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
  7. Competency in Jira, Power Point, Slack, Microsoft Teams, UsePastel, InstaBug
  8. A track record of following through on commitments.
  9. Excellent planning, organisational, and time management skills.
  10. Experience leading and developing top-performing teams.
  11. A history of leading and supporting successful products.

Ideal candidate must also have:

  1. Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or in Business Administration or Product Development with strong marketing and communication skills with at least 5+ years of professional experience of digital product development or/and as business analyst in an agile environment.
  2. Experience developing complex web and mobile based products for a large corporation
  3. Ability to take extreme ownership over your work. Every day is a challenge to ensure you are performing to the expectations you and your team have agreed upon, both in regards to estimates and to the general process.
