In this role, you will be working with a team of enthusiastic members supporting our Enterprise Marketing platform.
- You will be a techno-functional key leader for Marketo with a focus on providing and driving technical and strategic solutions for the business stakeholders within marketing automation in areas such as demand/lead generation, events, lead nurturing, lead scoring, and campaign management.
- Responsible for managing and optimizing our Marketo instances. Enhancing our marketing automation capabilities using your Marketo expertise to help achieve our business goals and drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end implementations and customizations of Enterprise Marketing projects using an Agile/SAFe approach with the Marketo platform. Deliver new features and functionality across all divisions with expertise and precision.
- Serve as a Marketo functional/technical subject matter expert on the Marketo capabilities, automation processes, deliverability, and marketing campaign best practices.
- Responsible for leading and assisting in developing complex and custom solutions, helping with planning, technical build & execution.
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Marketo lead architect to lead architecture projects. Understand functional requirements and work with cross-functional teams to architect, design, develop, test, and deliver solutions.
- Lead the implementation and configuration of Marketo, ensuring proper setup, integration with other systems (e.g., CRM), and data management. Take charge of marketing automation audits, integrations, and rebuilds as part of a cross-functional team. Develop proof-of-concept projects to validate new architectures and solutions.
- Work closely with Release Train Engineer (RTE), peer Scrum Masters, and Product Management to design scalable solutions and optimize efficiencies and performance through Scaled Agile practices and values.
- Develops relationships with internal customers, including Division level Product Owners, with the goal of a consistent implementation of Marketo across divisions, using Marketo best practices, to ensure that we leverage best-in-class solutions.
- Researches and analyzes strategically relevant platform opportunities and makes recommendations on new technologies.
- Identifies and resolves problems in platform usage to improve overall internal customer experience and standardizes across the enterprise.
- Effectively communicating with product owners to fully comprehend business challenges, define requirements, and oversee prioritizing user stories in the scrum backlog for solution design. Gather requirements, create user stories in AzureDevOps with clear acceptance criteria, and build solutions in Marketo.
- Act as a reliable point of contact for solution design and project delivery teams. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Work closely with the scrum team to establish timelines and ensure timely project delivery and implementation of designed solutions using Marketo.
- Provide guidance and facilitation to the team, effectively resolving issues, and handling merge conflicts with development staff.
- Manage risks, mitigate impediments and blocking issues to the team’s progress, and negotiate dependencies within and across teams.
- Playing a key liaison role during technology implementation, providing direction and requirements clarity, and testing new and enhanced capabilities, before releasing into production.
- Efficiently plan and execute Marketo releases via Azure DevOps and Marketo automation, ensuring high-quality project delivery and adherence to approval processes.
- Take ownership of the release process, documenting release issues, developing plans, and collaborating with RTE to enhance processes and automation.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and cleanliness within Marketo by implementing best practices for data governance, segmentation, and deduplication.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements and automation in the Marketo testing environment; support change management process, ensuring smooth integration of new functional improvements and enhancements into production, while optimizing business value.
- Stay on top of new Marketo developments, latest industry trends, and best practices. Leverage this knowledge to provide strategic plans for continuous improvements for our marketing automation capabilities in strategy, architecture, and processes.
