Job Description
The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and automation tools required for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of software applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, CI/CD, Ansible, Terraform, AWS, Azure, and Python scripting.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure required for continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of software applications.
- Develop and maintain automation tools and scripts for infrastructure management.
- Create and maintain Docker images and Kubernetes configurations for deployment of software applications.
- Create helm charts for deployment of applications on kubernetes.
- Configure and maintain Jenkins and other CI/CD tools for automated build and deployment of software applications.
- Create and maintain Ansible playbooks for automation of infrastructure management tasks.
- Create and maintain Terraform scripts for infrastructure as code management.
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
- Develop and maintain Python scripts for automation of infrastructure management tasks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure management roles.
- Extensive experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and deployment of software applications.
- Strong knowledge of Jenkins and other CI/CD tools for automated build and deployment of software applications.
- Extensive experience with Ansible and Terraform for infrastructure management.
- Strong knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud platforms for deployment and management of applications.
- Strong scripting skills with Python.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
