About the Role:
This role requires deep technical expertise in cloud platforms, automation tools, and CI/CD practices.
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will work closely with software development teams to ensure fast, secure, and reliable product releases. You will be responsible for system scalability, performance tuning, monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure infrastructure on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools
Monitor system performance and uptime using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, etc.
Ensure security, compliance, and data protection across infrastructure
Optimize cost, performance, and scalability of environments
Implement containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
Work closely with development teams to support and deploy microservices-based architecture
Manage secrets, environment variables, and access control securely
Lead incident response and system recovery processes
Write and maintain documentation of infrastructure and DevOps processes
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in DevOps or related roles
Strong experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Proficient in using Docker and container orchestration with Kubernetes
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and automation workflows
Solid understanding of Linux systems administration and shell scripting
Infrastructure-as-Code experience (Terraform, Ansible, or similar)
Experience with system monitoring, logging, and alerting tools
Familiarity with networking concepts, load balancers, DNS, and firewalls
Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and branching strategies
Good understanding of security practices (SSL, IAM, secrets management)
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications like AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA (Kubernetes Admin), or similar
Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud architectures
Prior experience in high-availability and fault-tolerant systems
Understanding of DevSecOps practices and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO, SOC2)
