🚀 We’re Hiring Senior DevOps Engineer
📍 Location: Cis Technology Park G5/2 Islamabad, Pakistan (Onsite)
SeQuenX is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to architect and manage the backbone of our cloud-native applications. You will be responsible for ensuring high availability, performance, and security across production systems while driving the automation of infrastructure and deployment workflows.
Key Responsibilities
1. Cloud Infrastructure & Orchestration
Infrastucture-as-Code (IaC): Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
Kubernetes Mastery: Deploy, manage, and scale containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
Automation: Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operational workflows.
2. CI/CD & Reliability
Pipeline Design: Build and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment and system resilience.
Observability: Implement and maintain deep monitoring using OpenTelemetry (OTEL), Prometheus, and Grafana.
Incident Management: Lead incident response, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and drive post-incident improvements.
3. Security & Best Practices
DevSecOps: Implement security best practices across infrastructure, CI/CD, and runtime environments.
Architecture Influence: Drive DevOps best practices and contribute to critical platform and architecture decisions.
Required Experience & Skills
Professional Experience: 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles.
Cloud Platforms: Strong hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
IaC & Tooling: Proven expertise with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
CI/CD Mastery: Solid knowledge of GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or ArgoCD.
Systems & Scripting: Strong understanding of Linux systems, networking, and scripting (Bash, Python, or Go).
Modern Architectures: Experience supporting microservices and distributed systems.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication and an ownership-driven approach to operating under pressure.
