Senior Infrastructure Project Manager

Job Description

Our organization seeks an Infrastructure Project Manager to update our data infrastructure while maintaining data security and firewalls. In this role, you will liaise between business stakeholders and our IT department, balancing business needs with hardware capacity and supporting seamless integration. You will review all project requirements and determine scheduling, budgeting, and resource needs. In addition, you will ensure the scope of work is well-defined and consider the integration of systems to ensure a seamless deployment. In addition to educational qualifications, applicants should have experience in IT project planning and be comfortable adhering to strict deadlines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage one or more projects focused on our data infrastructure
• Generate or review documentation of project requirements
• Determine the schedule, budget, and resource needs
• Ensure the work scope is well-defined
• Consider hardware needs and assist with capacity planning to ensure seamless deployment
• Work with external vendors as needed

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• IT project planning and management experience
• PMP certification a plus
• Familiarity with Agile methodology
• Organizational and time-management skills
• Written and oral communication skills
