Job Description
We’re looking for a Senior Laravel Developer with a deep understanding of PHP, Laravel, and modern backend development practices. You’ll work closely with our product and engineering teams to design, build, and maintain robust, scalable web applications that support our growing user base.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop RESTful APIs and backend services using Laravel.
- Architect and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance features.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality user experiences.
- Optimize existing codebases for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Stay updated with Laravel and PHP ecosystem best practices and emerging trends.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience in PHP development, with at least 4 to 5 years using Laravel.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and MVC architecture.
- Strong experience with MySQL or other relational databases.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue.js or React is a plus).
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern deployment practices.
- Knowledge of unit testing and test-driven development.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Experience with AWS, Docker, or microservices architecture is a bonus.
