We are looking for a Cloud Engineer who is able to design, develop and maintain web services and web applications meant to be delivered on both cloud and embedded devices.
Education
Required: BS Computer Science
Experience: 3-5 years in JavaEE and Golang development experience will be preferred Basic Required Skill Set
∙ 3-5 years of professional software/web development experience, including concepts, practice and procedures
∙ Experienced with Golang, Java, Python, Spring, SQL, JavaScript
∙ Experienced with RESTful web-services
∙ Good problem solving, learning and adapting skills
∙ Familiarity with basic Linux and MySQL
∙ Good knowledge of SQL and relational database programming
∙ Working knowledge of web/application servers
∙ Experience with database design and development
∙ Familiarity with Big data, Spark, Kafka, Kubernetes, Cassandra
∙ Familiarity with AWS/Google Cloud Services
∙ Demonstrated experience with OO design patterns/frameworks
∙ Knowledge of standard build and deployment tools such as Eclipse, Maven and G Responsibilities
The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
∙ Development of back-end web-services, integration, maintenance and testing, including on remote servers
∙ Flexibility to adapt to a rapidly changing business environment which will include learning new technologies
∙ Work in parallel with backend software and write frontend code that meshes with backend systems to craft flexible and graceful responses to often diabolically thorny web-development challenges.
∙ Forge new software control interfaces, data information displays, and look & feel, from scratch or rework older designs.
∙ Excel at teamwork as well as at independent, self-directed effort, with corresponding planning and time-management skills.
∙ Squeeze the utmost out of browser functionality by employing and keeping current on best practices.
∙ Optimize applications performance and moving existing code bases to latest
