  • Conduct an assessment of customer environments to evaluate the compatibility of hardware and software with the operational and performance requirements of their overall setups.
  • Create robust system architecture that meets high quality standards, while ensuring activities are in line with requirements and adhere to Microsofts architectural guidelines.
  • Offer guidance, support, and leadership to Systems teams, fostering effective collaboration between technologies to enhance systems performance and successfully implement change requests.
  • Lead the resolution of highly complex issues when escalated to the Systems Operations team.
  • Proactively identify problems before they occur.
  • Participate as a technical account lead in customer meetings to review performance, identify opportunities for continuous improvement and recommendations to optimize environments for cost and performance
  • Document customer environments and steps taken to resolve issues or complete tasks.
  • Provide ticket updates, time tracking, and current status through ServiceNow.
  • The document adheres to established protocols and procedures, which encompass change management, escalation, notification, and resolution of customer issues.
  • Provide on call escalation support.

 

Requirements

 

  • Preferred certification: Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert is desirable. Additionally, other certifications that are acceptable include:: MS-203, MS-220, AZ-104, AZ-303, AZ-304, AZ-305, MS-100 combined with MS101 or MD100 combined with MD101 and at least 5 years working as a Systems Engineer with a focus on Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Exchange Online or equivalent job roles and experience.
  • Highly organized with the ability to execute on multiple technical incidents and projects simultaneously.
  • Highly advanced technical experience with setup and deployment of infrastructure environments, customer use cases, and operational understanding of enterprise-level systems, servers, storage, networks in both Cloud and on-premise Managed Services environments.
  • Proficiency in the following areas: Microsoft Exchange and Exchange Online, Operating Systems and Domain Architecture, VMware and Azure Virtualization, Security and authorization, Multi-factor authentication, Disaster Recovery, Server Management, Azure Active Directory and on-premise Active Directory. Expertise in Migrations, ADMT, and Exchange. Familiarity with Intune and AutoPilot. Additional knowledge in SharePoint, Backup Systems, and Anti-Phishing systems is advantageous.
  • Self-starter: uses an appropriate sense of urgency and is capable of resolving complex technical problems and requests both independently and collaboratively with a team.
  • Willingness and desire to continue advancing technical expertise through collaboration with Engineers and Architects, and pursuit of technical certifications.
  • Have highly advanced communication skills (written, verbal, presentation).
  • Ability to follow and document standard processes and procedures.
