Between the Covers Magazine is looking for a creative, experienced, and highly skilled Senior Video Editor to join our onsite team at Upper Mall Scheme, Lahore.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Video Editor who can create high-quality, engaging, and visually compelling video content for BTC Magazine and its digital platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong editing skills, a creative mindset, and the ability to manage projects from concept to final delivery.
What You’ll Work On
- Edit and produce high-quality videos for social media and digital platforms.
- Create engaging Reels, TikToks, YouTube videos, promotional videos, interviews, and short-form content.
- Transform raw footage into polished and engaging video content.
- Add transitions, effects, motion graphics, subtitles, music, and sound effects where required.
- Collaborate with the content, social media, design, and marketing teams.
- Understand creative briefs and convert ideas into visually appealing videos.
- Maintain consistency with BTC Magazine’s brand identity and visual style.
- Optimize videos for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and other platforms.
- Stay updated with the latest video editing styles, trends, transitions, and social media formats.
- Manage multiple video projects and meet deadlines.
- Review and improve video quality based on feedback and performance.
- Organize and maintain video assets, footage, and project files.
Requirements
- 3–4 years of professional experience in video editing.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating professional video editing skills.
- Advanced knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of short-form and long-form video content.
- Knowledge of motion graphics, color correction, sound editing, and visual effects.
- Good understanding of social media video formats and trends.
- Strong creative and storytelling skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience working with media, publishing, marketing, or digital content is a plus.
- Available to work onsite at Upper Mall Road, Lahore.
