Job Description
Wayz Digitally is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic SEO intern to join our team for a 3-month internship. As an SEO intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our digital marketing experts and gain hands-on experience in SEO practices. You’ll assist in implementing SEO strategies, optimizing website content, and helping drive organic traffic to our clients' websites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct keyword research to identify high-performing keywords for content optimization.
- Assist in optimizing website content for on-page SEO (meta tags, headlines, alt text, etc.).
- Support in creating and managing link-building campaigns to enhance website authority.
- Analyze website performance using SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and others.
- Assist in developing and executing content strategies to boost search engine rankings.
- Track and analyze competitors’ SEO strategies and identify opportunities.
- Stay updated on the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance the overall digital marketing strategy.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, communications, computer science, or a related field.
- Strong interest in SEO, digital marketing, and online analytics.
- Basic familiarity with SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, or Ahrefs is a plus.
- A basic understanding of HTML and web page structure is a bonus but not required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills in the digital marketing space.
