Thrifle Technologies is looking for a "Social Media Intern" in a fully remote role.
ABOUT US:
Thrifle Technologies is a US-based startup aiming to connect customers with businesses through the creation of new sales and the sharing of ongoing promotions on our platform. We are just starting our journey and looking to add motivated individuals to the Thrifle team.
QUALIFICATIONS & ABOUT THE ROLE:
Ideal candidates should be passionate and excited about promotions/discounts and creating promotions for new businesses through their marketing skills. The intern will work with the business development team to create social media content.
- 100% REMOTE
- Self-starter with the ability to work without supervision
- Currently enrolled in a University
- Able to develop Social Media strategy with regular posting
- Familiar with creating Social Media posts (Facebook & Instagram)
- Some prior experience with Facebook’s Business Suite
- Should be aware of the basics of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or Canva
- Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
- Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner, and monitor
- Customer Reviews
- Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media
- Basic understanding of eCommerce
- Passionate about deals/discounts/eCommerce
- 12 week paid internship with a possibility for permanent hire
- Willingness to learn and accept challenges (basic training will be provided)
- Experience with TikTok is a +++
The candidate must possess a Windows/Mac computer with a reliable internet connection.
